Delphi wins contract to advise a blue-chip UK company on the setting up a technology driven bank, www.ukstreetbank.co.uk  

This will not be yet another icannotthinkofasilliernameforabank branded tired old bank seeking a temporary @ sign stockmarket halo. Such "internet only" banks will be dinosaurs by the second half of the "zeroes", the first decade of the new century.

Warren Edwardes, Delphi Risk Management's Chief Executive, said:

Internet banking and even mobile phone banking simply uses current technology. It will not relaunch itself every few years under an ever sillier name."

But technology for its own sake will not win customers without meaningful customer-driven product.
